Privacy Policy

Green World Tea Company (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs two physical stores in Hyderabad and a small contact website at greentea.zeeztech.com. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We try to keep our business — and this policy — as plain as our tea.

What we collect

We only collect information that you give us, or that is needed to run the website and answer you. That covers:

• Contact details — your name, phone number, email address, and the message you send us through the contact form, WhatsApp, or by email.
• Order details — what you asked for, the quantity, and the address you share with us when arranging delivery or pickup. We do not sell online; orders are taken over WhatsApp, phone, or in person.
• Basic site analytics — anonymous, aggregated page-view data (such as which pages are visited and the country they come from). We use this only to understand which products and stories people are interested in.

We do not store payment-card numbers. Card payments at our stores are processed by the bank's POS terminal. UPI payments go directly through your UPI app.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry or fulfil your order.
• To follow up on a delivery, confirm a quantity, or share a brewing tip you asked about.
• To improve the website — for example, by understanding which products customers most want to read about.

We will not send you marketing messages unless you specifically ask us to keep you posted on a new blend or seasonal arrival.

Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

• Delivery partners — when you ask us to ship an order, the courier needs your name, address, and phone number to deliver the parcel.
• Service providers we use to run the site — for example, our email host and the company that hosts our web server. They are contractually required to keep your data confidential and only use it for the service they provide to us.
• When required by law — if Indian law requires us to disclose information to a regulator or court, we will comply.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages for as long as we may reasonably need to answer follow-ups (typically up to 24 months). Order records are kept for the period required by Indian tax law. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is inaccurate.
• Delete your data (unless we are legally required to keep it for tax or accounting reasons).
• Stop contacting you.

Cookies

The site uses only the cookies needed to make pages load and to measure aggregate traffic. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.

Third-party services on the site

Our store-locator map is provided by Ola Maps. When the map loads, your browser communicates with Ola's servers in order to fetch tiles. Their privacy policy applies to that interaction.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for a reasonable period.
